Midweek Motivation: Slow Process

This winter, in lieu of running (just too many poor weather days), I've been skiing, doing a bodyweight circuit, and spinning on the bike trainer. The few times I have gotten out for a run, it's been tough. There are signs, however, that Spring is on its way, which gets me thinking about trail running again. Looking forward to splashing through puddles and mud, jumping over logs, and getting lost in nature. This quote is a good reminder to me that it won't be easy, but it will be fun.

  1. So true. Now in my third week back on the roads/trails, I will say it's starting to get easier. I think making it through that first month is key.

  2. Even though I've enjoyed running this winter -- I'm ready for spring:)

  3. This is a good reminder to stay patient and just continue doing the hard work.
