Day of Infamy, Runnerds, Yoga

Last year, Congress stopped commemorating Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day ("a date which will live in infamy" according to President Roosevelt), but that doesn't mean we have to stop remembering and honoring all those who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Please take a moment to give thanks to those who served not only then, but the brave service men and women who serve today.

If you're on Instagram, you've probably noticed there are often "Photo A Day" projects going on. This December, Laima and I are participating in two of them: Grow Soul Beautiful's "Yoga A Day" and Candice of I Have Run's "Runnerd Photo A Day." Instagram is fast becoming one of my favorite social media platforms, interesting to see how it will develop over time.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Dec. 7th was the day my hubby and I had our first date. We selfishly celebrate it every year.

    1. This was one of the days last week when it shot up into the 60s. Not too chilly!

  3. Didn't realize it is not officially commemorated any more. Kind of a shame. I need to get on board with these pics!
