The Runner in Winter: Ultrarunning Video

"Running Times’ correspondent Joel Wolpert caught up with trail runner Anton Krupicka to see how he runs through the Colorado winter. As do all of Wolpert’s films, this one features local music: songs by Denver, Colorado bands The Lumineers and Paper Bird." (Original post at Running Times.)

Interesting snapshot of an ultrarunning star as well as beautiful shots of the Boulder, CO area. Most interesting to me is how upright his running style is. His foot placement is so light, almost delicate. Love his amazing collection of shoes!

  1. Totally cool. Thanks for sharing. I even recognize some of those trails. Dude is a mountain man. But nothing like Kovas.

  3. Loved it! I wonder if he and Matt Carpenter are friends? (I was at Southern MS when Matt was a senior) He reminds me of Matt.

  8. What a fun video! I love Colorado, and tend to dislike it in the winter (I just can't stand driving in the snow...up a mountain...) but he made me want to live there!
